Buy a Brick, Support Students on Their SUNY Schenectady Journey

Pave The Way For Future Royals

On September 17, 1969 Schenectady County Community College opened its doors to the public, welcoming students who were ready to take the next steps in their education.

Fifty years later on September 17, 2019, SUNY Schenectady will commemorate its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of improving lives through education. The College will highlight all five academic divisions and lay the groundwork for the next fifty years.

Join supporters, friends and fellow alumni in showing your love for the College with your participation in the 50th Anniversary brick campaign, Paving the Way for Future Royals. With a contribution of $100 or more, you can have a brick engraved in the pathway that surrounds our beautiful quad fountain, demonstrating our commitment to empowering students as they take important steps to reach their goals.

Net proceeds from Paving the Way for Future Royals will support efforts to help students conquer obstacles that make obtaining a college degree seem daunting, from the Student Emergency Loan Fund, to the food pantry, and the scholarship program which awards more than $200,000 to students annually.

Add your name to our pathway and our history. Order your brick and show that together, we lead the way for future graduates. You can also choose to honor a beloved teacher or friend by purchasing a tribute brick.
